FLY FISHING SCHOOLS

These classes have been designed for all levels of skill. Class size is limited and student to instructor ratio is low. Everyone will benefit from these classes. Your one-day class will be an intense on the water experience. One that cannot be duplicated in a classroom or parking lot.

Weekend Clinics

Weekend fishing clinics are set for
the following weekends:
Saturday July 12 & 13 - 1 1/2 day class

$250.00 per person
These are 1 ½ day clinics.
Lunch provided on Saturday

Two complete days – lunch included both days $350.00 per person

Friday August 1st & Saturday August 2nd
2 day class

AM: River Clinic

  • Meet instructors in Bishop
  • 9:00 AM - Owens River (Lower or Upper Owens)
  • Learn river fishing techniques:
    • Tackles set up
    • Knot tying
    • Fly selection
    • Casting - learn basic casting techniques
    • Reading the water and wading strategy
    • Basic entomology
  • Break for lunch and travel to afternoon class destination

PM: River Clinic

  • Casting - presentation of nymphs, emergers, streamers and dries
  • Proper catch and release methods

2) Private Instruction:

A full day of intense private instruction. Class curriculum tailored to individual needs
